These are the character classes which are currently available. Note that race and class are tied to one another, so you can't be a dwarf magician, for example.

Human Classes

All humans distribute 8 points between Health and Will. Neither may be less than 2 or greater than 6. Humans also gain a special skill. Choose one of the following and give it a rating of 3:

  • Criminal
  • Haggler
  • Pathfinder
  • Survivalist

Cleric

Skills

Trait Touched by the Gods
Allowed Weapons Mace, flail, sling, other blunt weapons
Allowed Armor Any

Magician

Trait Wizard's Sight
Allowed Weapons Daggers only
Allowed Armor None

Paladin

Skills

Trait Feared in Hell
Allowed Weapons Any except bow or crossbow
Allowed Armor Any

Paladins must maintain Lawful alignment or else lose all Paladin abilities and become a Warrior of equivalent level. Also, a Paladin's Health is not allowed to ever advance higher than Will. If Health equals or surpasses Will, all Health advancement stops until Will catches back up.

Thief

Skills

Trait Devil May Care
Allowed Weapons Sword, hand axe, dagger, bow, crossbow
Allowed Armor Leather, no helmet or shield

Thieves may not ever be Lawful. If alignment ever changes to Lawful, a thief may retire or become a warrior of equivalent level. If you choose Criminal for your human special skill, then advance it to 4 instead of 3.

Warrior
